Top Ten Smells Of New Zealand.
1. The Ocean. This is a very important part of NZ life. When you smell the ocean, you smell summer.
2. Freshly Cut Grass. This is also a great smell. Thats if Uncle remembered to fix the lawn mower…
3. Hot Chips. With fish and meaty burgers. Dripping with gross fat, but we still eat it!
4. Pohutakawa trees. They really do have their own sort of smell…
5. Sunblock. or if you’re like me, the smell of sunburn cooler at night. Lol.
6. The smell when you wash down a boat at the end of the day. kind of a salty washy smell…
7. Sausages!!
8. The smell when you turn on a barbeque but haven’t put any food on it yet. i guess that smell is gas… but its still a NZ summer smell.
9. The smell of your hair when you have been swimming for like 3 days in a row but haven’t washed it.
10. Wet sand all through your clothes. When it kinda sticks. Its a bit dodge but i bet its happened to all NZers at least once!
